washer cycle runs twice as long as my old whirlpool because the tub gets out of balance constantly. does not rince clothes out good. has made my power bill higher because it has to run longer even though it's supposed to be energy efficient. i will never buy another samsung washer and dryer.

It's big and cheaper but I can't put the softener!

i like that i can put more laundry on it but i don't know when to put my softener since it doesn't have a compartment for it. once it's rinsing it's locked and i don't know when is the perfect time to put the softener. every time i opened it and it was rinsing there are no water on it. once i come back to check again, it's already on spinning mode.

This Samsung top load washer has a clean yet classy look. It's easy to use, just add your favorite detergent then load your clothes, no agitater to get in the way. The next part is what I like best, just select one of the eight preset seeing, choose from any of the four water temps, then either choose from the door water levels or let the machine do that for you. This washer is the best one I've had and I had a new, expensive one at my old place. It isn't oversized, but can fit large loads. It's simple, but has every option you need. I never needed nor used the complicated options for other washers. It looks sleek and high quality. The wash cycles are quiet and my toddler can sleep through the cycle signals because it's nice on the ears instead of a loud buzz. Easy to keep clean and cleans my clothes efficiently. I am very happy with this product!

We've had so many good experiences washing our clothes in this Samsung washing machine. Laundry has seemed truly easy with the bigger basin and very simple choices. In our house, we usually have workout or sports clothing. Therefore, we like to add rinse aid, and other additives. It's so easy to do that in this bigger washer. We share the chore of doing laundry now that it's so simple.

Very happy with my purchase! First of all I must say that this is a definite upgrade from my previous washer! I am very happy with the easy to use control! I have found that my clothes come out perfectly clean with about half the water and half the detergent I had to use on my previous one! I love the huge drum that allows lots of towels to be washed at one time! Also once it is done filling, the washer is very quiet which I appreciate! We have had a few problems with water splashing over the top of the drum and leaking out of the bottom of the machine however I do think we have figured out what the problem was. Keep in mind you don't need as much water as you would think! I do Highly recommend!

Great Top Load Washer for a Family

We were in need of a washer and dryer that fit into our laundry room with 2 requirements. Not take up a ton of space but still have the capacity to do the laundry for our family of 5. This Samsung washer did both those things and more. With all the laundry that I do for my family. I need a simple, easy to use washer, with enough capacity to minimize my loads. This washer checks all those boxes for me. While the capacity of the washer satisfies all my needs, the washer itself takes up far less room than my previous washer, leaving me plenty of room around it in the laundry room. It's also super quiet, which is a huge bonus I wasn't expecting.

I love to wash my clothes after receiving this washer! The washer is so quiet and so easy to use. I love the different settings it has and the size of the wash drum allows you to wash a small load or a comforter without any problems. I also love that it can do a self clean! The quiet soft closed lid is amazing! My favorite washer settings are the quick wash and normal setting. Quick wash comes in handy when I just have one or two items to wash real quick. There is a "Acfive Wave" agitator with a fabric softener dispenser you can easily pour your fabric softener into which makes it easy because it dispenses perfectly. Under the lid (in the front) is a section to add bleach so that it dilutes and adds it to the wash without splashing. There is a self locking lid that can be paused in case you forget to add something to the wash by pressing the pause/start button.. Washing clothes is now something that I don't mind doing since I have purchased this washer. No regrets!

This washer is very easy to use and straightforward. Not complicated and everyone in my family loves it. But what would be my favourite thing about this washer is how roomy it is. We can literally fit more clothes in it that results to us having less loads= less water, soap and electricity to use. we are very happy and satisfied with this purchase and i also like the self clean function. this ensures that our washing machine stays clean. compared to our old washer, this one is a lot more quiet and less vibration. We like it a lot and it makes doing laundry a lot easier even when someone is sleeping!

I love this Samsung washer! It has a large capacity and takes no time to wash clothes. It is also pretty quiet when washing. Has a lots of different settings and super easy to use. I use the normal wash cycle the most, but do customize the settings when needed. If the load is to heavy loaded on one side it will stop and alert you to come fix it instead of continuing and damaging itself. It has a self cleaning option with is great for regular weekly or monthly cleaning. Works like a charm to keep everything coming out sparking clean. The soft close lid and the locking mechanism while washing is very nice. I have a 2 years old and it will keep him from opening it midwash.

Improvement recommendations would be. 1. Allow smart assistant/phone integration. 2. Allow you to select the tune that plays. Self cleaning is a nice feature as well. I used it when I first got it and again after two loads.

We recently purchased the new Samsung top load washer and are absolutely thrilled with both its features and performance- it's simply the best. We switched back to the top loading washer as we feel our clothes get cleaner, and we can better control the water levels. After using the washer for a few months, these are my top features: This top loader has 8 preset washing cycles. Pretty much a cycle for anything and everything! This washing machine is so straightforward that we haven't even opened the manual! The capacity is huge- 4.1 Cu. Ft. Because of this capacity, the clothes get cleaner. Plus, it's eliminated the need to run to the local laundromat when washing bedding. Double bonus! This washer has an extra water feature. With so many water saving appliances, it's hard to get enough water for a deep clean. But with this water feature there have been no more extra rinse cycles…. Finally- a washing machine that's quiet. There are times when l run to check on the laundry and can't even tell if it's still running- that's how quiet it is! So grateful for this feature as laundry is often done when the kiddos are in bed. My last two favorite features are the soft close lid and self clean cycle. The lid is silent- no slamming noise and no pinched fingers, period. And the self clean cycle reminds you to clean the machine after 20 cycles have been run. It keeps our washing machine both looking brand new and smelling fresh. I love this machine! There is nothing that I would change and it makes me look forward to laundry day. I've already recommended to family and friends- it's that amazing!

Perfect size washer for our needs

We've had several washers throughout the years. We desperately needed a new set and was ecstatic to be able to purchase a matching set. Setup was easy, we love out deep bin tub since we can wash comforters and bigger bulkier items. There are so many settings on this model so no worry about not having a setting to choose from. The one thing we had to get used to was the musical sing song after it was done. My MIL didn't realize certain settings would cause it to rinse an extra time I til we pointed it out to her. She kept complaining it took twice as long as her other one did. We have to keep a downy ball to it fabric softener in since it doesn't have a designated spot like others we've used. It is quieter when washing so huge plus for us. We love the deep wash cycle since my husband's clothes are extremely dirty so this is the one cycle we use just for that. Now, the best feature is the quick wash. 15 minutes vs over an hour. Perfect for when you need something washed quickly and then use the Quick Dry cycle on the dryer to ensure you have your clothes washed and dried in under an hour. I received this product at a discounted price and in exchange was asked to leave my honest review.

This Samsung washer is great. It doesnt have an agitator so it is gentle on your clothes. While washing it is quiet which is nice because my last washer was so loud. Washes your clothes so they come out clean and not stretched out. I jave used the extra high high water level and the capacity size is amazong. It fits a lot of clothes and gets all clean.

Outstanding Washing machine

We were pleasantly surprised by this small but large washing machine. Because of the large 4.1 cubic foot load capacity, we are now washing fewer loads. The fact that there is no agitator makes loading even easier. A pretty cool feature is the soft close safety lid, no more having to double check that the lid is completely shut. There are 8 pre-set laundry programs but the bedding feature has to be the best. We have a small child in the house and the bedding gets washed a little more than the average. Combined with the large capacity drum, washing the bedding is no longer a hassle. Our old machine could not handle the large quilts so we had to go to a laundry mat. The vibration reduction technology of the washer makes doing laundry even quieter. This machine is saving us money all around with the energy savings features as well as less loads! I would highly recommend this Samsung washer to everybody.

Gently cleans clothes

I've never owned an impeller washer before, but I was in need of a larger washer due to getting a new king bed. I found out the hard way that my comforter would not fit in my old agitator style washer and I didn't really have the budget for a front load washer. This washer was the perfect choice for my needs! I can fit my king down-alternative comforter no problem, it even has a bedding cycle, in fact, there are 8 different cycles. You can even choose the water fill level, or let the machine automatically pick the best water level. I'm amazed how much quieter this machine is compared to my old agitator style machine. I appreciate that this machine is smart enough to slow itself down if it's off balance and gives you troubleshooting codes with the lights if there's anything wrong while washing a load. My laundry always comes out clean and a lot drier than my old washer, which leads to shorter drying times in the dryer. Overall, this washer has exceeded my expectations and has a lot more features than I was expecting.

I am really impressed with this washer. Firstly, It has large capacity, which makes it super easy to do large loads in one time. I also washed my large comforter and it got cleaned nicely in the washer. Secondly, it comes with 8 preset washing cycles. I only have to select the cycle and it adjusts water level and temperature according to that. This saves time and makes laundry process convenient. Once the lid is closed, it locks unless the machine is off or paused. This is a nice safety feature. I like the ease of selecting water level, for clothes that need thorough cleaning. Once the cycle is over, their is a tune that signifies for the completion. I am really happy with the performance of my new washer.

it was ok until i started to have problems i called samsung they sent out a tech that didnt really want to help me he told me it was balance....ok about 2 weeks later it started with they same problem ( not spinning the water out of the clothes). i once again called samsung and the sent out the same tech guy from before but this time i had a video to show him what it was doing by this time it would sometimes spin the water out and sometime not and now when i power it on it would just light up but nothing happen until i power off and on again. when i showed the tech the video he said it balance and he didn't want to hear anything i have to say so i asked for a supervisor name and number and he refused. never again will i buy anything from samsung

Such an upgrade!

I am completely blown away by the upgrade this washer has been for my home. I went from a front load washer that was a hand-me-down and dirty from the start, to an impressive, quiet and high-performing washer from Samsung. I love the ease of getting the load started and choosing my cycle. There are seven general cycles, plus a self clean cycle that I have plans to run once a month. I tend to stick with "normal" or "delicates," for the loads that have a lot of workout clothes that I don't want jostled more than normal. Additionally, you have four temp settings, and four water level settings. Simple buttons for Power and Start/Pause allow you to get started easily, and the size of the inside is pretty amazing. I like the soft close top on the washer and how easily I can get clothes out after the spin cycle. This is a very easy washing machine to use and I can picture this lasting a long time in my house.

Usually do laundry at least threee times a week and I Love the Samsung washer,perfectly washes my clothes the first time through, has super big drum so clothes move freely without tangling like my previous washer, 8 preset washing cycles or 5 temperature settings, the lid closes so softly it too is quiet, and has anti vibration that keeps it quiet no out of balance issue I've had in the past so I could focus on other tasks while it ran in background, very sleek clean design. Large Tub, no Softener dispenser

I was not sure what to expect and like some features but feel some key features are missing. First the size of the wash tub is impressive, I can fit two loads of laundry and large blankets in one wash cycle. The machine is not loud and seems to really keep clothes on balance. The knobs are easy understand each cycle and what settings you need. The clothes really seem clean, I mostly use the extra high water and heavy duty wash cycle for normal loads. I like the extra water to help the clothes feel clean. I also like the music tone at the end of the cycle that the washer plays. The most disappointing feature for me is not having a fabric softener dispenser and no way to add softener without baby sitting the cycle. I end up having to do an extra rinse and spin cycle at the end of every single wash. Also the time it takes for each cycle is double the amount of time my old washer took. To be honest I would not have purchased this washer if I had known that it didn't have a fabric softener dispenser. I used to throw a fabric softener ball in the wash at the start and it would do all the work for me, but that is not an option with this washer it just sits inside the ball and leaks all over the clothes at the end of the wash. I would highly recommend they add some sort of dispenser for future. In my photos are my old set and my new set. It looks so much better with the new set!

Almost Enjoying Laundry Now _ Samsung Appliances

We got our new Samsung washer about three weeks ago. The entire set up went very well. The first thing I noticed was how large the inside drum of the washer was. It also does not have the big agitator. The capacity on this model is truly amazing. It is enormous. This new technology is wonderful. I was able to wash a whole bunch of blankets all at the same time. The oxy clean powder was fully dissolved so I know the machine really got the job done. I used the bedding cycle and everything came out super clean. I really appreciate the simply console and use of this machine. For me less is more. I love it!

It's SO big!

When I chose the Samsung 4.1 top loader washing machine, I assumed it was probably smaller than all of the other models, which I didn't mind because there's only 2 people in the house. Sometimes I do my daughter's laundry to help her out, between her and her 2 children, their loads are not very big either. However, I was so wrong. I am blown away by how big the tub is! I have owned washers in the past that were "heavy duty" or "super load sized" but none of them were as big as this one! The first time I used it, I sorted loads first like I always do. Then I opened the lid to throw a load in, and couldn't believe my eyes! I can EASILY do double the size of loads I was doing in my last washer! I LOVE it!

Great Top Load Washer!

We were in need of a washer and dryer that fit into our laundry room with 2 requirements. Not take up a ton of space but still have the capacity to do the laundry for our family of 5. This Samsung washer did both those things and more. They fit our space perfectly and due to the fact that our laundry room was configured poorly by the builders, the ability to go from the top load washer to the front load dryer is a huge plus. The capacity of the washer allows us to, on most laundry days, just do one load of laundry for all 3 of our kids, which is a huge plus. The functionality is super intuitive and easy to use. We have not been yet used all 8 preset washing cycles, but having that many options makes it super easy for even our kids to take care of the laundry. One other huge plus is how quite the washing machine is. Our kitchen is right below the laundry room and you can barely notice a load is being washed. On top of all of that, they look great. I would definitely recommend this Samsung Washer to family and friends.

Great Top Load Washer!

Works Great But Music a Bummer

Overall I am very pleased with the washing machine, but I deducted one star because I wish there was a way to turn off the long song that plays at the end of the cycle. This is a normal function on most machines, but this one doesn't allow for turning it off. I also wish there was a countdown of cycle length. I am very pleased though with the effectiveness and would recommend.

I am so very happy with my new Samsung washer! The inside provides about twice the space for clothes as my previous washer. I also love the minimal noise it provides when washing. Push button settings allow for quick and easy settings. I also really like the child lock setting that does not allow the washer to be opened once the cycle starts. My favorite cycle is the Bedding cycle. I have used it twice now and I can tell a big difference. My bedding, including my comforter, looks and feels cleaner than it has in a long time. The other feature I am very fond of is the Self Clean setting. I run it once a week to ensure there isn't any dirt residue or smell in the washer. Overall, I am quite happy with my Samsung washer and I am finishing my laundry in half the time as before.

Swissing and washing with Samsung

I am very impressed with the quietness of the washing machine. I have used 4 of the 8 washing cycles. I've use the normal cycle to wash our everyday clothes - the clothes comes out clean and the color is maintained. I've use the "heavy duty" cycle to wash some heavily soiled clothes, the washer does an excellent job of getting out the stains. The big capacity allows me to wash our king size comforter with ease. When done, the washer plays a sound....how cool is that! I love the fact that it's energy efficient and pressing the power on is so easy. I am very happy with this Samsung washer. Well done Samsung, you have found another way to make your customer s lives are little bit easier!

Samsung took the hassle out of washing!

Coming from a washer/dryer set that I have had since my early 20s, I truly cannot state how much this washer/dryer combo has changed my washing experience. I am finally able to wash more than 4 wash towels at a single time, and I can finally leave my dryer in confidence knowing that the dryer will not stop until the clothes are fully dry! Even though my wife and I share lots of things in our marriage, our approach to doing laundry could not be more different. This washer however takes care of all of that with it's multiple preset washing cycles, really helping take some of the guesswork out of washing. Additionally, the large capacity means that we have not only reduced our washing loads as a whole as more clothes can properly clean in a larger set, but we can know properly wash our bedding! This is double checked by the extra high water level feature that Samsung has included. This means that when we wash a larger load we can ensure that the clothes are properly soaked and washed, but for smaller loads we are not being wasteful by filling the whole barrel when it isn't called for. And lastly, I have to say that with the vibration reduction tech that Samsung has included, I can now wash a load of clothes during my wife's shows without getting a death glare. It handles clothes wonderfully and is as quiet as one could hope for!

Great Washer!

This is a great washer I absolutely love it! It is very user friendly and has a lot of great features. I love that is has a large tub so I can wash more clothes at one time. It does a great job at cleaning heavily soiled clothes. My favorite features are the child lock, alarm when finished, and the self cleaning. The child lock is separate from the lid lock it has to be activated and alarms you when the washer is being messed with while activated. When your clothes are finished it plays a nice little tune to let you know the cycle is complete. After 20 loads of laundry it notifies you that the washer needs to be cleaned and you can run a cycle in the self cleaning mode!

Quiet laundry done right!

Perfect washer for my family

Samsung top load washer is very capable machine that exceeds my expectation. We are family of four with two very active boy and girl; thus having frequent laundries. First of all, it does its job wonderfully. It provides several different water temperatures, water levels, and power levels. Basically, it covers all washing needs for my family. Two of my favorite features are the vibration reduction technology, and Quick Wash. Samsung washer is noticeably quieter than my older washer; thanks to vibration reduction. And Quick wash is something that we need in case we need to quickly wash kids clothes. I normally use it for smaller load, and finishes washing about 30 minutes; Fantastic feature. Note on the height of the washer; it is bit high for my wife, and we had to place a small step in front of the washer. Just keep in mind if anyone has plan to purchase.

I love my new Samsung 4.1 cu. ft. capacity Top Load Washer! This is the first washer I have owned without the inside center agitator and I love how much room it has. It has 8 different wash cycles and 5 different temperature levels that make it super easy to choose correctly for your laundry type. I love the soft close lid which also locks after starting the cycle. It is super quiet while washing. A bonus it plays the best tone medley when your laundry is finished which is much better than an annoying buzzer sound. This washer makes it so easy to do my bedding in one load, or all of my towels, or a huge load of jeans. Another great feature is the SELF CLEAN option. The machine will remind you after 20 loads with a blinking LED light on the panel. This helps to keep your tub in prime condition!

Sleek Washer that is simple yet powerful

I've really been enjoying the new upright Samsung washer. It looks very simple in terms of controls and once you start using it you find it has everything you need, nothing more nothing less. I appreciate that as I've used washers with all the bells and whistles and find it can be confusing and annoying to figure out all the settings. This washer also has the largest capacity of any washer i've owned. With 3 kids, doing large loads of laundry is a huge time saver and I'm very satisfied with how much it can handle. It's also very easy to get clothes in and out. There is no annoying middle soap filler or anything like that, just a giant hole for all your laundry! I would highly recommend this washer to anyone looking for a nice, simple washer that looks sleek and handles large loads of laundry with ease!

I am absolutely in love with this Samsung washer! It has a large capacity and that means less loads of laundry for me to wash throughout the week. It is pretty quick and quiet when washing. Has a lots of different settings and super easy to use. I personally use the normal wash cycle with warm water the most. I have also discovered it if it is to heavy loaded on one side it will stop and alert you to come find it instead of continuing and damaging itself. I love the soft close lid and the fact that it has a lock while washing. That way my child can't stop it mid wash! I also love that it sings me a song when it is finished washing.

Where do I start with this washer, so far it's amazing! It's super quiet, even when in that final stage of draining! The drum itself is huge and it helps that it doesn't have an agitator in the way! Instead the bottom acts as an agitator and performs flawlessly! One of my favorite features is that is has a dedicated option for for bedding along with an extra high option for the water level! This allows the washer to perform at its best for those bulking bedding options! Did I mention how quiet this thing really is? the only time I really hear it is when it has completed it's operation and it plays a melody to alert you it's done! Overall it's a great washer with alot of room for all of those clothes you and your kids may have A++

Love this washer

I was a bit skeptical about using a top loader where as in the past I've always used a front loader but I have to admit I am so impressed! This washer is far better then other brands I have used! I love all the options for washing your clothing including a setting for bedding and the soft close lid is a life saver when my children are helping with laundry. I am so impressed with how quiet this machine is and how quickly the cycles are done. I would like to mention that I am able to wash two large blankets or almost two full baskets of clothing at a time and this washer is super quiet! I love this washer and am so happy I decided to get it.
