my dishwasher is less than two years old, and out of warranty, of course.
the leak sensor is giving a warning and there is no leak.the dishwasher is inoperable because of this.
the internet tells me this is a common problem with samsung dishwashers. samsung wants over $200 to repair.
i have decided to throw it out and never buy another samsung product again.

for a dishwasher that cost close to $1,000 i expected a lot more. it doesn't clean very well at all, most of our dishes come out with debris of some kind on them unless we just about wash them first.
all of the racks have broken parts. the top rack broke so bad we had to take it out. wheels keep falling off, misc parts break and get stuck in the drain. i've had to disassemble the inside several times to clean out pieces of plastic.
given the cost of the dishwasher, i would not risk buying another samsung product after this.

I bought this over a year ago. Everything about this washer is top notch. My only complaint and it rarely happens is that the door that keeps the pod sometimes doesn't open during a cycle. This requires a second wash. Everything else about this machine is great.

dishwasher had minor damage to the interior frame that wouldn't have been noticeable without being a technician. started getting a leak code while the dishwasher was still under warranty and the samsung tech came out and said he can't repair it because it's physical damage. called samusng support and they said the best they can do is out of warranty service....this isn't right when it was delivered in this condition by samsung's delivery and installation company and still within the warranty period. the attached picture was taken the day after delivery and when i zoomed in sure enough the damage was there when the dishwasher was received.

We got the unit from Best Buy Outlet, and it looks fine and worked fine when we installed it. Compared to our old unit, the cups layout is good, but the plates layout makes it harder to combine plates and bowls. After a couple months, the fan vent cover in the door came off, and water started to leak into the area with the electronics, causing malfunctions. We reinstalled the cover, but it's hard to get it engaged since the vent fixture isn't attached on the top so the twist-on grooves wouldn't line up. Overall, it works, but with issues we have to keep track of.

We bought it at Lowes the first time around and the machine went berserk within 2 months... it took another 2 months to go through the tedious warranty process, which we completed in November 2021. We are still waiting on delivery of the new dishwasher, which I had to pay the difference for because my original one was no longer sold (even though we only got it a few months prior to being told this). Hopefully the new one will be here soon.

i just got this unit and after just 2 months of regular use you know once a day this unit started to give an error "lc" means water in the reservoir tray and it won't work i took a video to prove that water is coming from the bottom drum

i am frustrated that this dishwasher needed repair at 8 months and is now out of warranty at 15 months and needs the same repair. i tried to online chat with the company and was informed my wait time would be 2 hrs 11 mins with 128 people ahead of me. it does not clean as well as i would like, i have had to re-wash dishes more often than i should with a new dw.
the wheels on the bottom rack hit the metal strip around the rubber seal at the door opening and over time bends the metal strip out, preventing an easy roll of the rack. i've had to bend them back in several times for the rack to roll.
it's fairly quiet, but not as quiet as others have indicated in other reviews which is frustrating. overall, i would say this dw is just average, but wouldn't purchase it again if given the option.

We got this dishwasher at a discounted price in September 2019, but I definitely would pay full price for it after 2+ years of use. This was our first Samsung kitchen appliance (we've since also purchased a Samsung refrigerator and stove), so I was honestly a little hesitant about whether it would work well and hold up over time, but it has exceeded my expectations. Cleans dishes well, and has a number of options for any type of load. I especially like the sanitize feature, and the fact that the dishwasher opens (just a little) when the cycle is complete so that the dishes can continue to air dry. The top utensil rack is also a nice added touch, but we have found that it is necessary to rinse any items placed on this rack well if the rest of the dishwasher is very full, because otherwise they often still have food particles on them afterward. We chose the black stainless steel finish and I absolutely love the look of it and how much more fingerprint resistant it is compared to regular stainless steel. Again, I have no complaints about our Samsung dishwasher and am very pleased with it's performance so far.

This dishwasher is awesome! It has 4 racks and 2 silverware holders. I love how you can choose different settings and select if you want only the bottom rack washed only. Plus it's quiet. Chimes when it's done, and cracks open to help dry the dishes.

Upgraded all of my kitchen appliances with Samsung and the Dishwasher is far from par with the other products. My 15yr old dishwasher did a better job than this does. The black stainless has rubbed off of the handle and around the edges. Just had parts replaced after 2 months of having it and now it is leaking and had to call back out to repair. Very shotty for something that costs $1,000.

I bought this dishwasher a few months ago and it has not disappointed. Super quite when running and the dishes come out sparkling clean. The drying feature is also great - the door pops open while drying cycle runs and it really works. The dishwasher also has a very stylish look and looks great in your kitchen. The top rack for knives is genius - works great for keeping knives safely out of the way.

has never cleaned well since day one. we have checked everything, from soap to temperature. our 10yr old ge cleaned better. the middle shelf spinning arm falls off if even lightly bumped. it's a shame considering the cost of these is almost 3 times a typical dishwasher.

i have owned a few dishwashers in my lifetime and this one is by far the worst. i have never had an issue with dishes coming out clean like i have with this one, and that includes "lesser" and way "cheaper" brands. with this dishwasher, it is a 50-50 shot that the dishes will still be dirty, even though it is not even a year old. i have followed all recommendations on samsung.com for loading, ran diagnostics, deep cleaned, still the same result...sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. even increased the temp on my water heater because i thought maybe 120 wasn't hot enough for it. i guess i'm glad others find it works well but....for me, just going to junk it and buy another cheap one that worked better for me.

hand wash dishes till almost spotless and start a cycle and they come out dirtier than when put in. if there is a tiny amount of grease lwft on something it will end up on all dishes. i wish i could afford to replace it because it is worthess. we now wash everything by hand and simply use it as a dish drying rack and we have only had it for 3 months. we have had it serviced and they say there is nothing wrong it with water pressure or spray arm and thag we must have just received a defective model

I like the features of this dishwasher and it is relatively quiet, but I wish the things that hold the dishes were straight. Some of bowls don't fit just right in there so they're up more space than necessary. Also. The auto open feature is great, but when the dishwasher is not in use, it opens too far so it's either that or close the door.

I love our new Samsung dishwasher. It is super quiet and gets our dishes clean quick. We primarily use the 60 minute quick wash, and love the feature where the door automatically opens when finished, helping the disher dry quickly. The interior is super spacious, has adjustable racks and holds so much more than our previous washer. The black stainless steel finish stays clean easily and matches our other Samsung products. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

What a difference clean dishes can make in a home! I am so happy with my new Stormwash it is quiet , roomy, powerful and efficient. I love how there are 3 tiers so I can separate my knives and tongs from the dishes and glasses on the other racks. There are 4 holders for utensils which is great since my kids love to go through spoons very quickly! I can run the dishwasher at any time since it is practically silent , when the cycle is complete it automatically pops the door open with a little jingle so I know it's done. The Stormwash also has an adjustable rack for larger items to fit and washed properly. This has made cleaning up so much easier and less of a chore for me.

Our old dishwasher was only 3 years old so I didn't think this would be too big of an upgrade, BOY WAS I WRONG! First off, the black stainless steel is very sharp looking (much better than the regular stainless steel). But this thing is more than just good looks, i love how quiet it is (much quieter then the one we replaced.) And the best thing of all is how well it cleans dishes. We had no idea how bad our last one was until we got this. We couldn't be happier. I also has no idea how handy the 3rd shelf would be (because we didn't have one before) but it makes such a difference. I love putting my placemats there to get washed. I also really like how the dishwasher opens when it is done, which helps with drying!

One would think that all dishwashers are the same, nope I was wrong! We had an old dishwasher, no complaints with it; until we replaced it with the Samsung! First off, the Samsung has a lot more room, it has features that allow you to adjust the height. For
bulky pots it fights great! Also the 3rd shelf for silverware is kind of a game changer. I feel like I can keep adding in more stuff to get washed, a huge plus! This thing is so quiet, I forget it is even on! Also the stainless steel construction seems very sturdy inside (no plastic). The other two awesome new features is Storm Wash. In a certain area of the washer are more powerful jets for those stubborn pots/pans. One of my favorite features is Auto Release. When the cycle is complete, the door will automatically open to allow the dishes to dry faster. Due to this I highly recommend having a dishwasher rinser to avoid spots (we have soft water, so not a big deal).
My only complaint with the dishwasher is the tight tolerances for installation. In our case, we had to cut the tile to make room for it to fit.

After trying out the new Samsung Storm Wash dishwasher for the last couple of weeks, it is clear that it does a great job at effectively cleaning and drying the dishes every time. I love that it has 3 racks for organizing and providing a spot for anything that needs to be washed. The center rack is adjustable which is great for really large pots and pans in the lower rack or even tall glassware in the middle rack and was a thoughtful aspect of the new dishwasher. It seems like I was able to load up the dishwasher with considerably more dishes than our previous dishwasher. I was able to test out all of the various options including the Samsung StormWash option for thoroughly scrubbing hard to clean pots and pans. I did find that using the normal wash was very effective in getting the dishes clean each time. However, it is nice knowing that you have that option if you do have difficult to clean dishes. Not having to pre-rinse your dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher is nice because you save a lot of water and time and because the dishwasher only uses a small amount of water with each wash, the savings really add up over time and conserve a lot of water. My husband and I were surprised at how quiet (only 48 dBA's) the dishwasher was and you barely realized that it was running after startup. There is also a handy Auto Release feature where the dishwasher will pop open for the last 10 minutes or so allowing the steam to release and improves the drying of the dishes considerably. All in all, with its attractive design, quiet operation and so far flawless performance, I would highly recommend the Samsung StormWash dishwashers.

The new Samsung Storm wash dishwasher was a welcomed addition to our kitchen full of Samsung appliances. After the install and an odd error code on our 1st use, a quick fix took care of the issue and has been problem free ever since (thank you smart technology). We love the 3rd rack and use it for spatulas and utensils and lids and things of that nature which saves more space for the lower racks. The middle rack is fully adjustable to allow for larger pans, cookie sheets, and cutting boards on the lower rack or larger heat sensitive items on the middle rack. It was really designed well with space savings in mind and we can fit a lot more dishes to be cleaned in this unit versus our previous dishwashers. The StormWash provides multi-angle cleaning and is effective at thoroughly scrubbing baked on foods and tough to clean items. This unit was rated at 48 dBA's and is very quiet after initial start-up. The thick padding material that surrounds the unit helps to ensure its quiet operation and there are no longer any issues with having conversations or watching TV while the dishwasher is running. Another nice feature to help with the drying of the dishes is the AutoRelease door which pops open with about 5 minutes to go of the drying cycle to release all the steam and blowdry/air dry the dishes. The dishes come out dry and clean which is exactly what you want with a dishwasher. We like the fact that the controls are at the top of the front door mostly hidden and offer several different cleaning options- the most advanced of which is the "StormWash" option for a superior scrubbing of tough dried-on food stains (although the "Normal" mode is suitable for most washes). Another nice aspect of the unit is the beautiful black stainless steel front to match the rest of our appliances in our kitchen. When you open the front door of the unit, the inside door and walls of the unit are stainless steel which gives it a clean and sterile appearance and truly looks beautiful with the gray racks and some red accents on the StormWash feature. Because the Samsung appliance is Energy Star Rated at just 255 kWh/Year, it only cost pennies a day to run the appliance. Samsung does a great job in the design of their products and always nails the appearance of their products and with all these high quality features, we look forward to many years of clean dishes!

The Samsung Dishwasher is sleek, quiet and easy to use. I love the digital screen and the auto settings. My husband actually installed the product himself. The directions were easy to follow and took about an hour to get everything up and running. I place most of our dishes including our kids plates/cups and never have an issue. The items come out clear and glossy. I have not had an issue with any grease stains or having to rewash items. The best part is how quiet it is, I turn in on when the babies go to sleep and it has not woken them up once. The steam clean and popping open of the door is one of the best features. It has a section at the top where you can place odd items that won't fit in the side boxes in the bottom. I really enjoy this product and highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade or replace items. This is one of the best purchases we have gotten since moving into our new home.
