We didnt need a new air conditioner but the one we had was so noisy it was keeping us awake at night. We have a couple of LG appliances and have been very happy with them so we decided to get the LG air conditioner. We absolutely LOVE it. It is so quiet that we have no more sleepless nights and ringing ears. LG is now my appliance of choice.

Excellent for intended purpose

This unit performs as expected with one exception. The mode selection failed to work properly on two occasions thus far. I had to shut the unit down for a few minutes each time to get it to change functions. This is disappointing on such a new unit.

It keeps the room cool enough but I dont like the fact that the panel faces the ceiling. Point is that when I use the remote I can not see what it is set on. I have had it only 3 weeks and already the clean filter light has come on. I checked the filter and it IS clean

I am very happy I bought this unit. It cools off the room quickly although not as quietly as I had hoped. I do like the energy saving feature that turns the fan on and off as it is needed. Alland all it is a good unit for my bedroom.
