i purchased this unite in July of 2024.after 5 mounts the unite fails and after few minutes shut down. I call the lg technician arrive and claim the unite has to be replaced. I called 3 times and took about one mount and still no response cannot believe such name brand company treat their client so disrespectful i am so upset and mad that after three times of calling i have the same respond someone is going to call you. Lg company has to be ashamed of this client treatment. Now i have to wait another round of having the same respond.is just so discus ting.

Satisfaction with the LW2416HR

The last three 3 units we purchased were LGs. We have two units in our double wide . We have two LG LW2416HRAC units. One was umpteen years old and we replaced it with another of the same model just a few weeks ago. The surviving unit ran pretty much full bore and got us through last summer and up to today. It also heated us through the winter by itself. We now have two units working great and freezing us out. I am sold on LG.

Compressor wont come on rarely used in 5 yrs someone at LG said it had 10 yr guarantee and I spent a day trying to find a tech to come and confirm it so I could get an auth. letter and a new one after wasting time and unable to find anyone near Sarasota someone else at LG said no only one year guatantee--LG has onone in Sarasota-Bradenton an area of 1 million people

I bought this unit 3 months ago and already unit died. Called LG and have to say they were pretty good with getting service company out to troubleshoot problems and pre order parts the might need to be change ahead of time. And luckily the service company ordered the right part because the unit needed a new control board. New control board fixed the issue and unit is working again and good i might add. My concerns are the age of unit 3 months and it needed a new control board. Service provider they sent was very professional and polite.

Only had this until sense September and have used the heat more than the air. So far it works fine but it does cycle on and off often . Problems with the installation include no rear grill included and none was offered so I bought one from another mfg. Also the casing is open underneath which will allow birds to roost. There is not a good way to seal around the unit.

Worst purchase I could have bought. I have a 1360 space thought the 23000 would be more than enough. It barely cools 12 20. Please dont waste your money. Im about to take it back. Only it two weeks.

I was so impressed with the one I purchased on 03/07/20 I purchased a second one on 03/14/20. I am impressed with the fan not running when the heat pump is not on.

THE DIGITAL NUMBER GOES OUT AND WILL NOT HEAT PROPERLY. I HAVE HAD IT 1 1/2 YEARS AND SPENT TO MUCH MONEY FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME. JUST DISAPPOINTED.

The heater function did not work from the day i installed it now its been 1 yr 3 months and now the a/c compressor will not shut off i have to unplug it .

A Very Efficient Unit

I bought this two months ago to cool my sunroom. This has been the hottest summer in years and this unit has performed perfectly. I havent noticed a large increase in my electric bill. I am very pleased with this purchase.
