Outstanding Quietness

It's quietness is outstanding. I was impressed enough to purchase an 8,000 BTU model for a smaller room. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to make the control panel easier to read.

I really liked the quietness oh, the cooling is great. I'm a little disappointed with the Wi-Fi connection I have to units one won't stay connected but Frigidaire is working on correcting that with me. Would I buy them again? yes!

Non functional touch pad

People don't read/know how to use it

So I've only owned it for 1 day so far. But I'll post a long term review.. But multiple people on here have complained about not saving settings turning it off/on.. So basically this reveals how they do not read the user manual. User manual states on page 12/16:"After a power outage, the unit will memorize the last setting and return the unit to the same setting once power is restored."So.. I just tested it. I placed it in COOL and 68... hit the "test" button on the plug, this cuts the power (simulates the power outage). Then I restored the power. And sure enough it came back in COOL and 68. So clearly people just need to do the bare minimum of reading around.I do have to admit it is kind of annoying fridge doesn't give that option innately. But I think they are tring to push the ECO mode. Only thing I can say with fridgeaire so far is I owned a smaller cheaper unit ($150 ish).. and it was LOUDDDDD. This one ($480 ish) IS QUIET.. for example.. I have a dishwasher about 30 feet away from me.. and a HEPA filter next to the AC unit (15 feet away) and I can hear the HEPA filter and dishwasher WAY WAY over the AC. Previously the cheaper AC would drown out EVERY noise.So just based on the quietness alone is enough to justify the cost (in my opinion). The cooling is outstanding.. last night was the first time I actually used a blanket. Which is great!The buttons work great for me. I ditched the remote and wifi option. What I will do if I really need to is buy a power regulator on amazon or elsewhere.. It'll cut the power at a certain time of day, and reconnect the power at another time of day. This means while I'm gone at work, save power. 15 minutes before I get home, turn it on and boom itll be cooling rapidly.

Won't Hold Settings

I understand that every time I turn it on it has to start in eco mode. BUT, it won™€™t retain the other settings from when it was turned off. Every time it™€™s turned on the temp is set to ™€˜72™€™ and the fan is set to ™€˜Auto™€™. This very aggravating and inconvenient, considering returning it.

My experience with the new generation Frigidaire ac

So I'm going to start saying it's it is a beautiful design it's not as heavy as the previous one 56lb.. it is the most quiet AC unit I own to date.. you could barely hear anything or course when you have it on low fun.. so I had the most quietly sleep I ever had in a long time..I do like the new swing option since the previous model didn't have it.. this model is not bad but I like the last model before it was much much easier to take out the cover for the filter.. installing through the app was very easy like the ones before this model.. so I got the AC working very quick with the app.. one negative that came with this unit it seems to be defective is the touch sensitive.. only the power button and. Swing works fine everything else you have to push it extremely hard for it to actually active.. it must be a defect of the company or the manufacturer have to check why it has that problem

Great for my tiny Manhattan Apartment

I just got this AC and so far it™€™s great! It™€™s quiet and cools down my entire studio apartment quickly. It was easy to install and I love the dehumidifying feature. My only critique is that the buttons on the front are not easy to push and it took me about 2 minutes to finally be able to push the WiFi button to set up the app. Overall though, I™€™m very happy with it!

Way too expensive for what it is.

The AC it self seems fine except nothing works on the face. The "buttons" aren't even buttons and they don't work. So I can't adjust the temp on the unit or connect to the wifi. The plastic in front is really cheap and flimsy. Don't waste your money on this. Just get a regular old 10,000 BTU unit for less.
